“We wanted a product that can be dispensed from a tube and that is effective even at extremely low temperatures,” said Dr. Petra Allef, head of research and development, enumerating the desired qualities of the new skin cream. She and her team created an innovative product that has been well received, especially in regions with extremely harsh winter conditions.
STOKO® FROST PROTECT is a silicon-free skin protection cream that is easy to apply and features an anti-freeze effect for workers subjected to extremely low temperatures, whether outdoors or in refrigerated environments. High-quality ingredients protect and nurture the skin, restoring its natural barrier function.
“Cold temperatures are very harsh to unprotected skin. When people are subjected to extreme cold for long periods of time, the production of natural skin lipids declines. The skin becomes rough and chapped which lessens the skin’s barrier function. With STOKO® FROST PROTECT the skin is ideally protected, even in freezing temperatures,” said marketing director Dr. Annette zur Mühlen.
STOKO® FROST PROTECT is ideal for both face and hands, and is also well suited for the entire body. The cream leaves no unpleasant residue, can be used in most manufacturing environments and does not affect surface finishes.
