Your responsibilities:
- Independently performing repair work on equipment, machines, or systems, including functional testing and commissioning
- Performing maintenance, inspection, and testing work on production facilities
- Coordinating and supervising small teams (contractors) on construction sites and at plant components
- Acceptance and documentation of installation work performed by external contractors
- Assisting with performance acceptance
- Assisting with shutdown planning and coordinating external contractors and trades during the shutdown
- Contributing to improvements in the immediate work environment
What you bring to the table:
- Successfully completed training as an industrial mechanic (machine or industrial fitter or comparable)
- Several years of professional experience in the relevant field
- Experience in industrial maintenance, e.g., continuous production and manufacturing facilities
- Strong technical expertise in mechanical engineering, pumps, and industrial valves
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems, pneumatics, and piping; welding certification is desirable
- Good computer skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative
- High degree of initiative, flexibility, and commitment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills and a proactive approach to work
- Willingness to participate in on-call duty
