Purchasing Manager (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

  • Management and further development of strategic and operational procurement
  • Development and implementation of procurement strategies for cost optimization, quality assurance, and risk minimization
  • Analysis of market and technology trends and identification of new sourcing opportunities
  • Drafting, negotiating, and finalizing framework agreements
  • Responsibility for the procurement of raw materials, components, services, and project-related purchases
  • Ensuring quality, delivery capability, and on-time supply to all locations
  • Technical and managerial leadership, as well as the further development of the procurement team at two locations
  • Ensuring compliance with regulations, internal standards, and company guidelines

What you bring to the table:

  • A successfully completed university degree in business administration, engineering, or chemistry
  • Several years of professional experience in procurement, ideally in the chemical industry or in mechanical and plant engineering
  • In-depth knowledge of strategic and operational purchasing as well as supplier and contract management
  • Excellent SAP skills and experience with digital procurement processes
  • Business-level proficiency in German and English
  • A strong hands-on approach within mid-sized company structures
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, strong cost awareness, and the courage to rethink things
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, analytical thinking, and a confident demeanor
